….a site as lovely as a tree. Is that how that line goes? Even if it isn’t the right wording, I understand what the author meant. In Kentucky (where I live) Redbud trees and Dogwood trees are in full bloom and they are breath taking. This morning I am praising God for the beauty of spring; especially flowers and trees. There have been busy seasons of my life when I haven’t always appreciated God’s artistic hand across the landscape, but now I do. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Ps 118:24 - This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
This morning I took time to really think about the word rejoice. It’s not a word we use much today, but maybe we should. As Christians shouldn’t we wake up each morning praising God with joy in our hearts? This morning the sun is shining, birds are singing and the evidence of spring is all around me. Thank you God for this wonderful day. Help me to rejoice and be glad in it and let the joy of having Jesus in my heart show to all those I come in contact with.
How do you rejoice in Jesus? Let me know!
Today is Saturday and I finally have most of the clothes from our trip washed, dried and ready to wear again. I’ve downloaded the photos from the trip and emailed some to family members. The boys were back in school on Friday and now our trip to Washington is a memory, a very good memory. I love family vacations but I love getting back in the swing of my every day routine as well. The older I get the more I like being in a rut! How boring does that sound???? Truthfully, I am very thankful and feel very blessed to be able to travel with people I love and then come back home to more people that I love. I am so fortunate to have such a large and loving family. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
